I Hate My Itchy Scalp

Have you see that photo? These is my problem for a few years already. I've been trying different kinds of remedies and went to the doctor for a few times too and they send me off some allergy medication that makes me too drowsy to do much anything and give me loads of smelly creams and sticky ointments that only mask the problem. I'm really tired and seek of it. And I get depressed when I see my scalp is flaking.

My sister has the same problem too, and her doctor advice her to use a T/Gel  Therapeutic Original shampoo such as Netrogena. It helps control itching and flaking symptomatic of scalp psoriasis, seborrheic  dermatitis and even common dandruff. This rich T/Gel therapeutic shampoo lather gently cleanses, leaving hair lustrous and manageable even with everyday use.

She's  been telling me that this skin problems has something to do with our genes. My father has the same problem too but he got it on his lower legs. He is been using dermovate cream ointment for ages.

1. “A good thing never ends.” Have you ever had a good thing in your life that never ended?

- I believe nothing will last forever. There is always a beginning and an ending. But I believe those memories from my childhood, from my friends, and from those people who been a special part of me are the good things in my life that never ended.

2. “I got nasty habits, I take tea at three.” Do you have an nasty habits?

-Hmmm, maybe scratching my scalp all the time because I have scalp allergies.

3. “I'd rather be dead than to be singing Satisfaction at 45.” He obviously changed his mind. What is something that you still do that you thought you' outgrow

-Splurging myself through shopping and traveling.

4. “Lose your dreams and lose your mind.” Have you lost any of your dreams as time went by?

- I think giving up a wonderful career in my life and went abroad and now I'm afraid what life awaits me when I'm going home.

5. “I haven't had time to return to the scene because I never left it.” As you've grown older, what ways are you still act and think the way you did as when you were younger?

-  I've grown so much I know but I still have that shyness. I can feel pulling back myself sometimes.

6. “Patriotism is something that fades when the war starts.” How do you react to this quote?

- I think patriotism fades away in time  and it is always remembered when there are anniversaries, ceremonies or something to be acknowledge for.

7. “The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.” Is there a person in your life who still treats you as the same person to when your were younger? Do you like it?

-Nobody

8. “It's all right letting yourself go, as long as you pull yourself back.” Have you let yourself go in any aspect of your life?

- Yes, a lot of times because I make my own decision.

9. “My mother has always been unhappy with what I do. She would rather I do something nicer, like being a brick layer.” How do you parents feel about what you do?

- I think I've always been a good daughter to my parents. Though, I can make my own decision but when it comes to them I always obey them.  Now, when I want to make a big step in my life I cannot say that they are happy about it though they give their blessings.

10. “Anarchy is the only slight glimmer of hope.” How would you categorize your political point of view?

- Democratic

On What I've Been Doing Lately

Hey, guys, I'm back here. Happy Sunday to all and hope you enjoy your weekend ^-^

I missed these things, writing about myself, what I've been thinking or doing? Lately, I'm too lazy to do certain things. I enjoyed looking back those time when I was a little kid and happy to be with my siblings.  It procrastinating my time until ends up in one pack because I have to do it quickly. In short unproductive and tiring days.

Going back those memories on my mind (it's always been a part of me)for the past few days that wasted my time. Modestly speaking, I've always been a good girl. For almost 19 years away without parental guidance, I have no choice but to be strong and to stand my own. From a country girl who never knew what city life is. But never, never came up to my mind to do things that can never be proud of especially to my family and to my self. However, there are times that on my journey towards my goal, there are people tries to break it. They stole the trust of my family and the people who cared and loved me. Partly they've won to destroy me  but I'm still lucky eventually at the end I got back the trust they've been given me.  It made me cry  I cannot forgive those people, I tried too but the hate and the anger stayed here in my heart. Somehow, someday, time can heal the wound.

It made me surprised also that for 11 years that I've only  seen  my family once in a year for five days and now eight straight years without seeing them hit me to missed my mother so much. I know it's normal but I find it odd feelings, it's not like me,  being away for many years I can't even remember the cooking of my mother. But then,  I still remember her voice shouting at me. LOL! I can still remember the way she get angry with my father. I can't remember her touch but I can remember her smile. Certainly, mother has unconditional love and I know she missed me that much as I missed her too. I have spoken to her yesterday and that missed her a lot more. My relationship with my mother is not like what my siblings have, that probably had been missing between us. But I admire my mother so tenderly.

It made me think also that I wish people came with warning labels so I know which one to avoid. I know I'm not perfect, I have flaws also as a human being. A human being  who is tired to those self-centered, selfish, thoughtless and careless people. People who waste so much of my time and energy. The most disapointing part is you get a long these people so well but also can get hard to handle every day. It's quiet the double edge sword for there is nothing like a genuine human caring response yet nothing as crushing or disappointing as cruel, thoughtless, insensitive response.

Those thoughts occupied my mind lately and I forgot the things I have to do..Such as

1. I have to pick up my box to my friend so that I could start packing now with my second box to be send home this end of the month.
2. I have to cut toenails of Sara. I forgot it for quiet a few days already

3. I have some ironing to do

And lastly, yesterday I had a big job and shouldn't be neglected even for a second. Hehehe! When we came home from the pool , water was flowing in the floor of the kitchen. Gee! Our freeze, suddenly turn off , the machine is not working.. Whew! So, I cleaned up  and it lasted me two hours to finish. I cleaned the whole kitchen though hahaha!

A Donkey In The Well

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer  tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be recovered up anyway, so it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.

At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly.  Then to everyone amazement's he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He astonished at what he saw. With each shovel dirt hit his back , the donkey was doing something. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Now, most people think that's the end, but it isn't.

The donkey later came back and bit the shit out of the farmer who had tried to bury him. The gash from the bite got infected, and the farmer eventually died in agony from septic shock.

Lesson : Do unto other as you what have others do unto you. If you don't want to be ripped off, don't rip off others . If you don't want to be judge, don't judge. When you do something that can hurt others, remember it is always come back to bite you.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy!

1. Free your heart from hatred

2. Free your mind from worries

3. Live simply

4. Give more

5. Expect less

My first Entry for Wednesday Wickedness:

Hi and welcome to Wednesday Wickedness. We are like other memes in that we will ask you ten questions each and every Wednesday. Today we picked Ellen Degeneres. Here's Wednesday Wickedness!

1. "I was coming home from kindergarten--well they told me it was kindergarten. I found out later I had been working in a factory for ten years. It's good for a kid to know how to make gloves." How old were you when you started working and what was your first job?

- I started working at age thirteen - handling deliveries and purchases of frozen and canned goods.

2. "My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the hell she is." Tell us about your grandparents.

- I was seven years old when my  paternal grandmother died. As far I remember she was a very kind woman. She worked like a midwife but not license midwife. She only used to help pregnant woman deliver their babies at home.  I never see my grandfather neither my maternal grandparents.

3. "Procrastination isn't the problem, it's the solution. So procrastinate now, don't put it off." Do you procrastinate or are you on top of the situations?

- Yes , sometimes during my off day , I used to do things in a last minute..lol but eventually it turned out so well.

4. "Sometimes you can't see yourself clearly until you see yourself through the eyes of others." What would others say about you?

- I'm not a friendly type of person but others see me as charming, kind , helpful and sometimes my boyfriend told me I'm dominant and rational.. lol!

5. "The only thing that scares me more than space aliens is the idea that there aren't any space aliens. We can't be the best that creation has to offer. I pray we're not all there is. If so, we're in big trouble" Do you believe in life on other planets?

- Growing up in a farm land I've heard a lot of stories about these but I haven't seen any. so, I don't think so though it made me goose pimples listening the stories

6. "I'm a godmother, that's a great thing to be, a godmother. She calls me god for short, that's cute, I taught her that." Do you have a godchild?

- Yes, I do have. Daughter and son of my best friend

7. "I don't understand the sizes anymore. There's a size zero, which I didn't even know that they had. It must stand for: 'Ohhh my God, you're thin.'" When was the last time that you were called too thin?

- Since I was a kid until 14 years old I always called skinny with my friends and family and those people who see me

8. "I have the worst memory ever so no matter who comes up to me - they're just, like, 'I can't believe you don't remember me!" I'm like, 'Oh Dad I'm sorry!'" Who was the last person that you should have recognized but didn't?

- I'm very good in remembering names and faces. So, I can't remember who was the last person that I know but I cannot recognize.

9. "I gotta work out. I keep saying it all the time. I keep saying I gotta start working out. It's been about two months since I've worked out. And I just don't have the time. Which uh..is odd. Because I have the time to go out to dinner. And uh..and watch tv. And get a bone density test. And uh.. try to figure out what my phone number spells in words." Do you work out? Have you ever joined a gym and quit almost immediately?

- Thanks for reminding me.. Hahaha! I should work out. Walking and jogging by the beach. I never been to gym.

10. 'We use 10 percent of our brains. Imagine how much we could accomplish if we used the other 60 percent." Do you feel that you utilize all your intelligence in every situation?

- My  boyfriend use to tell me that I'm clever to reason out ..lol! I could easily find ways to reason out..And Sara said (my patient) telling me often  that I always have an answer in every question.. But I don't think so that I utilize all my intelligence in every situation. I'm not in a corporate or politics world for that..Hahahaha!

GT: I Love Me Mentally

Once again it's girl talk. And this week topic is love myself - Mentally. 

Our mind is the most powerful force. It gives us purpose, propels actions, gives insights and understanding, makes us reasonable, in fact makes us a living thing with unique wisdom. With our mind, any ideas conceivable can be brought to reality.  

So, in my mental approach in life - what I love mentally about me is being strong. My mind can able to handle any stress in life. My mother always admire and trust my capacity to handle  difficulties. She always believe that I am very strong that sometimes the expectation is  unreachable.  I  believe too that I'm quiet smart mentally - from all the hardships and experiences I've been through in my life I can say I'm proud of myself of what I have.

My ability to succeed comes within me though along my way I have failures but it's part of my life journey and I'm just human.  I want to be natural, being true too myself. I don't want to be a hero just to be appreciated and admired. But I love my mental positive approach in life. Above all I thank GOD for everything he has given me.

All I know I write with my " echus, kaek-ekan and drama" in life. lol!

 

Hence, blogging is my outlet. I can really express what I really feel . It is not necessary he agrees with your points and can be sometimes try to change your mind but he need always to respect you, even if he dis agree with you. Her opinion is always open.

5. MAKING FUN -A friend is not only valuable for your problems but you need someone to make fun with. Everyone needs to laugh and some humor is necessary in friendship

6) GOOD COMPANY - You will do many activities together with your friend. Maybe you are going together to a movie, theatre or a concert or you travel together. Your friend needs to be good company for enjoying your entertainment activity.

 7) PATIENCE - There are circumstances where patience of your friend is necessary. It is possible you complain about certain issues which you can't share with someone else. Patience is an important quality your friend needs to help you through this process.

8) FORGIVENESS - An important quality of a true friend. It is necessary when some problems arise between you and your friend. Everyone makes mistakes and sometimes they say things they don't mean. Forgiveness is important for maintaining your friendship and nobody will lose his or her best friend for a misunderstanding or a small conflict.

Most Treasured Possession

After bragging myself -financially on girls talk theme this week. I realize that I was boasting myself a little bit LOL! Anyhow, girls talk theme and my proust questionnaire post has a great contribution for my nostalgia entry this week. I hope, dear readers of my blog, won't get tired or feed up for another sober story, I want to share. (Sana di kayo magsawa, sumubaybay sa buhay ko )Toink, Drama Queen!

From my answer on Proust Questionnaire. What is your most treasured possession?

I should say that my  most treasured possession is my COLLEGE DIPLOMA. Why? and How I get it? Well, financially , that's why girl talk theme came in.LOL. I was born to a parents whose financial status is always a problem. I go over what I thought after I finished elementary , that I don't want to live this life for the rest of my life. When my mother decide not to send me to High School, I asked her if she know someone who could take me to work with so that I can go to High School. Financially,  at age 13, I able to worked as "housemaid" hahaha! . Actually, I was incharge for their canned/frozen business. Receiving and making purchases. Handling deliveries so on and so forth. A few to mentions until I got my High School Diploma. And Oh, I still got time signing slumbooks and crushes but I didn't have time to play and for extra curricular activities. Hehehe!

Transferred from one job, one place to another was really difficult. Without somebody to turn too. My parents were in the province and I can only visit them once in a year. Expenses get more and more and I never thought I can enrolled college because  my mind at those times was I need to work. To help my parents out of expenses at home,that since my father was a drunker and a weak person. However, my elder sister though I do not have a good relationship with her was forcing me to take entrance exams to Universities. And was so funny that she want me to enrolled to an expensive College and University. Of course, I refused. Who will pay my tuition fee?Who  will give my allowances? No other one, than me.  I do no apply for SA (School Assistant) kasi di ko inisip na mag aral ako and when I decided it was too late for opportunities for SA. I didn't have so much confidence for myself before. I always pulling back myself that I cannot do it.

So, I did enrolled. Working two jobs at a time. Even three.  Selling beauty products, dry goods and RTW's to my classmates and workmates. I even sell choriso and tucino to private and government offices. And that I can able to help my parents in a little way, send my younger sister to University who is now a teacher, and able to pay my tuition fee. However, on my journey to get my degree. I almost there,then I was out from my job because I was a government contractual employee. Natalo ang mayor ko hahaha! It's a known fact in our beaurocracy who ever sits in the position can help anybody but when they lost, you are out too. That was three months before my graduation, I asked my parents to support me. I know it was very difficult for them but they are the only one I can count on. And also with the help of my yearbook solicitation. I solicited people who only give  money without signature on their solicitation letter. That helped me a lot.

My Most Treasured Possession

Strong faith, determination, perseverance, and believing myself was my great traits on how I manage to reached my goal. I whispered myself the moment I received my  Diploma. LORD, this is the greatest gift, you ever gave me. Without you , who guided me all the way I can never get over all the trials you have given me. Thank you! Though life is an unending journey but have to strive, work for it and be patient. At the end of the day, you can see rainbow and be merry! But don't forget to thank him!

Looking back those memories, Thank God, I can laugh from it. Financially wise - read girls talk - I love Me - Financially. Hahaha! Di ba connected siya.? ^-^

GT- I Love Me Financially

Happy Thursday everyone. Once again it's Girls Talk. This week topic is I Love me - Financially. When I read this topic of Kaye I laugh myself and asked silently  " Did I have something to brag financially?" Weeee... Like Kaye - I am also a breadwinner of the family. For the past seven years abroad, I am always a good daughter as a favorite quote of my Mom - With my income here I can provide my parents, brothers and sisters the things they needed. Bought a lovely house in Davao city for my parents and a house in Manila with the helped or I should say "contribution" of my fiancee. (Manila house only) Char!And with my weekly income I can able to pamper myself. Eating to some posh restaurant, go some shopping , and can go some adventure. I'm very thankful that since I was 13 years old , I'm not dependent to anyone. I was earning since then and helped my family in a little way.. I'm debt-free but I help my mom out of expenses as much as I can. In few months, I'm going home and with that, I'm afraid that there will be no input , no money coming in.. And I'm not used not to have something. I just wish that through blogging I can earn a little bit.

Have you know about The Proust Questionnaire?

I've heard about about this But I have know idea what was it, until I did research about the history of it. 

Marcel Proust was a French writer who took this survey several times with enthusiasm. He believed that people must know and understand themselves before they could know and understand others. Thus, he developed a list of subjective questions that he felt would help reveal a person's true selves and true nature.

Lets see if mine will be revealed.. Be honest!

1.  What is your greatest fear ? To get old without having someone to care for me.

2.  What is your idea for perfect happiness? There is no such thing like to love and be love in return. Lived life the best way i can and cherish memories. Feeling whole and complete that nothing in this world can go wrong.

3. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? My stubbornness and my tendency of getting irritable easily when it comes to standing of what I believe but arguing with those who can see any other opinion than their own.

4. What is the traits you most deplore in others? Liar, Dishonest, Selfish and Judgmental

5. Which living person do you most admire? I admire the story of Dr. Ben Carson - world renowned neurosurgeon, a son to an illiterate mother, who worked  3 jobs at a time just to give her boys the best education.

6. What is your greatest extravagance ? Though I love beautiful things but I'm not such an etravagant person. My mini series laptop which is not so necessary is the most expensive thing I've ever bought.

7. What is your current state of mind? Pretty good but a little apprehensive, pensive , excited.

8. What do you consider the most overrated virtue? Self-discipline and respect - when you have this , others will follow.

9. On what occasion do you lie? When I'm not interested..I make some excuses  If it is not important invitations.

10. What do you most dislike about your appearance? I dislike my legs and my curly hair ^-^

11. Which living person do you most despise? Hating someone intensely is far too easy to do. But I really hate someone, who take advantage my innocence and ignorance.

12. What is the quality you most like a man? Intelligence and compassion

13. What is the quality you most like in woman? Strong sense of self and Genuineness.

14. Which words or phrases do you most overuse? " Thank you" , "Hello & Hi"  , " How are you" and  " I love you"

15. What or who is the greatest love of your life? My family - they are always a family whatever happens.

16. When and where were you happiest? When Erwin proposed me to marry him.

17. Which talent would you most like to have? I would like to be a photographer.

18. If you would change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I would love to have a flawless legs LOL..

19. What do you consider your greatest achievement? Having a bachelors degree despite of being poor.

20. If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?  A butterfly - just fly with no worries at all.

21. Where you would most like to live? Canada - a land of opportunities and wonderful place to live.

28. Who is your fictional hero? Batman probably because he is always dependent on his own grit and determination 

29. Which historical figure do you most identify with? - Princess Diane - my life is not like her but I admire her being love by many people around the world with her kindness. I can do as I can to help others and I can feel I have a kind heart like her.

31. What is the most you dislike ? Hypocrisy, Nusty, Rude, pretenders and people who doesn't want to appreciate simple things.

32. What is your greatest regret? I have no huge regrets - I admit I made little mistakes along my journey in life and learn to accept and move on.

 33. Who are your heroes in real life? My mother - who never give up life easily and Sarah who give the best for her children and adored and admired her mother very much.

Rafael Nadal is back in Wimbledon

I have watched the men single final yesterday - it was an amazing game. Rafael Nadal is absolutely a great player. It took him two hours and 13 minutes to claim his eight grand slam title. 

Despite his absence last year's Wimbledon recurring his knees injuries that has plunged his career recently, he was delighted to reclaim the Wimbledon crown that he missed to get it last year!

His triumph was a different story, it's simpler than winning the title last 2008 against Roger Federer.  It was also a surprise for Berdych who struggled to find the form that saw him knock out both Federer and Novak Dykovich on his route to the final.

He was very happy to received the trophy on his hand. It is more than a dream for him. He even goes his head over heels as he celebrates his win. It gives him a lot of confidence and power to be stronger next time and who knows what's going to happen for the next, he said. 

While Nadal celebrating his triumph, Berdych  was upset and sad but he paid tribute to the Spaniard. It was a great two weeks for him but the encounter yesterday between him and Nadal was strong. He said Nadal deserve to win, which was very kind of him inspite of what he really feels. 

Watching the game yesterday made me nervous but when he got the 1st and 2nd set I was glad and confident that he can get the championship set.

Hey good morning, afternoon, evening people of the world. How you doing? It's been for a while I  didn't try to visit here. I was busy , watching the women single finals of Wimbledon yesterday. Yehey! my beat won- Serena William, 4 times Champion for Wimbledon -women singles. Secondly, I spoke to my parents on the messenger. It was lovely and miss them a lot. Soon we will be together and I am looking forward and get excited now.

I want to extend my greeting to all American people, Happy 4th of July. Happy Independence America , Be Safe and Happy Sunday to All.

Olah, this week theme gave me a hard time to think on what I like most of my self.  I stayed in the mirror for a while and contemplate the three things that people used to admire about me.
