Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus

Have you read this book of John Gray? Yes, I had read it few years ago, my friend who is now in Canada let me borrowed the book. It is good for those who live currently or dating someone, or even you are about to break up with someone. I can recommend this book to read.

I love to read this , because there are so many things I could not understand about men, and so many things I used to feel as a woman, but doubted my sanity, and now I see that most of these things are intrinsic to us, it's just the way we think and process things.

I found myself laughing while reading this book, because I was relating to stuff that really happens in real life. It was happening to me too and I was miles away of getting on track again.

It is not easy to make things right, but in the end, if you really want to change things, you will make it, you have to start with you, correcting your mistakes, and forgetting your pride, cause it just gets in the way of your happiness.

Most of the problems women have in relationships are built and grown in their mind and then one day we just plant a bomb and our partner gets completely lost...how wouldn't he, he had no clue what was coming.
But the interesting thing...is that there are some men who think like us, women, and the opposite is also true, sometimes I get myself thinking like a man, and this is when it gets really interesting... that's why I tag myself: a female.

If you don't want to live alone this must have to learn.

I noted some insights the difference of men and women based on this book.

A man wants to make improvements when he feels he is being approached as a solution to the problem rather than the problem itself..

Venusian is not immediately concerned w/ finding solutions to her problem but rather seeks relief by expressing herself and being understood.

Martians talk about problems for only two reasons: they are blaming someone or they are seeking advice.

Men also became impatient when women talk about problem in great detail, another reason why men may resist listening is that he is looking for the bottomline.

Women talks in great detail that all the details are necessary.she may however frustrate her mate partner-unless he understands that she just need to talk about it and then she will feel better.try being supportive guys ;p

Martian should understood that when venusian feels heard she stops dwelling on her problems and becomes very positive.

Venusian shood understood that a martian going into his cave was not a sign that he didnt love her as much

When the martian became depressed, everyone on the planet left their cities and went to their caves for a long time.

When the venusians became depressed,to feel better they formed big circle ang began talking w/ one another.

Men are motivated and empowered when they feel needed.when he feels trusted to do his best to fulfill her needs and appreciated for his efforts,he is empowered and has more to give.

Venusian are motivated and empowered when they feel cherished

When a woman does not feel cherished in a relationship she gradually becomes compulsively responsible and exhausted from giving too much.on the other hand when she feels cared for and respected, she is fulfilled and has more to give as well..

You left a comment on my shout box but there was no link in your message. Luckily I found your name in Arvin's blog. Thanks for that message. As for the book you read, I have not read it yet so I cannot comment on that. Suffice it to say that we should never make a mental image of the person we want to live with in our life. Doing so will make a prototype of the ideal person in our mind and we will unconsciously seek for that kind of person and we are bound to frustrations. Better to entrust our faith to God by praying that He leads us to the person that He purpose for our life. That way, we will get our partner of God's choosing. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.
